About

My design career started almost 25 years ago in Chicago.

I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA 1997) with a specialization in Photography and Filmmaking, though I had been taking courses in "computer aided graphic design" as it was called in the early 90's. Originally my plan was to become a movie editor or a studio photographer, but as fate would have it, I happened upon a boutique design firm and they gave me my first shot. There, I learned about motion graphics, visual effects, and the art of compositing.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2000 where I've worked for network television, cable, post-production companies, and design firms. One day I found myself working for the cable network Hallmark Channel as a freelancer for a week, and it turned into an 20-year relationship.

I am currently a Sr. Creative Director at Crown Media Family Networks, which encompasses Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies Now, and Hallmark Publishing.
